Customer Service Representative (Bank Teller)
About The Position
Citizens State Bank is seeking an energetic, service‑oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our frontline team. This full-time, on-site role is shared between our Montrose and Ridgway branches and plays a vital part in helping customers across our region feel supported, known, and valued. As a CSR, you will be the welcoming face of the bank—providing friendly, accurate, and knowledgeable service to customers visiting our branches and those calling in from throughout the region. This entry-level role is perfect for someone who loves connecting with people, thrives in a detail-oriented environment, and wants to build a career in community banking.
Requirements
- Bi-lingual (fluency in Spanish and English)
- Reliable transportation (you will be scheduled in two branches, as a floater between both Ridgway and Montrose communities)
- 2+ years of customer service experience , ideally in a fast-paced or detail-focused environment
- Strong communication skills—friendly, clear, and professional
- Comfort learning and using computer systems and banking tools
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- A genuine desire to help people and make their day a little easier
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with everyday banking needs, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and account questions
- Deliver excellent in-branch service as the first point of contact for customers
- Answer incoming phone inquiries and support customers across all Citizens State Bank locations
- Perform accurate data entry, transaction processing, and documentation
- Troubleshoot customer issues with professionalism and patience
- Uphold all bank policies and compliance practices to ensure customer safety and confidentiality
- Build trusted relationships with customers by demonstrating warmth, attentiveness, and problem-solving skills
