About The Position

Rogers Group is currently seeking a Truck Scale Dispatch/Customer Service Representative I / Admin. Support to work at our Butler/Howard Sand locations, Butler, Ga, Georgia SMA. This position reports to the Administrative Coordinator. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, intuitive problem- solving skills and drive to me the organization’s needs. Rogers Group, Inc., headquartered in Nashville, is a privately held aggregates and asphalt highway construction company operating and meeting customer needs in 13 states with over 3,000 employees. RGI, established in 1908, has the distinction of being recognized as the largest privately held aggregate producer in the United States.

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Prior experience with accounts payable, general accounting, and billing related tasks – preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent customer service skills
• Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy with the ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional, and thorough customer service
• Accurately ticket trucks from truck scale
• Enter requisitions for purchase orders
• Process incoming invoices from vendors
• Promote team atmosphere at location and across the division
• Assist in processing paperwork for corporate accounting systems such as accounts payable, payroll, etc.
• Assist sales staff with customer service responsibilities
• Manage front desk and greet visitors
• Become an iProcurement Super User
• May be called upon at the discretion of Manager to perform other duties
