About The Position

The qualified candidate for this position will answer inbound telephone calls from members, providers, brokers/agents, and potential clients, provide information to members regarding dental benefits and provider network, provide eligibility information to provider network and coordinate emergency care (out-of-area and specialist referrals). Requirements

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum of one year customer service experience in a Call Center environment

Responsibilities

  • Interact with other departments (or areas) to resolve patient and/or doctor inquiries
  • Assist in training new Customer Service representatives
  • Answer inbound telephone calls from members, providers, brokers/agents, and potential clients
  • Provide information to members regarding dental benefits and provider network
  • Provide eligibility information to provider network
  • Coordinate emergency care (out-of-area and specialist referrals)
  • Interact with other departments (or areas) to resolve patient and/or doctor inquiries
  • Coordinate Language Assistance Program requests
  • Clerical duties and/or projects as assigned
