Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of customer service preferably in a call center and/or manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years of Microsoft Office or equivalent tool experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Research and recommend solutions for all incoming calls regarding pricing and availability, order changes/status, basic product questions.
  • Receive and process domestic standard distributor orders via email, phone, or electronically via JD Edwards system and Connect for assigned functional area/brand.
  • Work with sales, planning, production, shipping and other operating functions regarding product, delivery or service matters.
  • Monitor or follow-up on scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery to customers. This may include obtaining proof of delivery and/or expediting shipment as needed.
  • Identify key components to assist customers in part replacements.
  • Ensure all customer requests are responded to in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain high level of performance by meeting team key performance indicator (KPI) goals.
