Requirements

2 years of related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to complete reports and forms associated with the position: Ability to communicate effectively orally, and in writing
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusion.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with all telephone inquiries.
Quote customers on products.
Process orders-Order Entry.
Confirm lead time on quotes and orders.
Confirm/update current pricing.
Expedite any urgent orders.
Follow up on quotes.
Work with Outside Sales Managers as a team to establish and maintain customer relationships.
Provide samples to customers and salesmen.
Gather information for customer complaints and returns
Process product testing.
Maintain customer addresses/contact information.
Confirm order changes/cancellations, etc.
Mail introduction letters to new prospective customers
Other duties may be assigned
