About The Position

The Customer Service Rep - Tech Products (Seasonal, Remote) works from home and interfaces with customers via inbound/outbound calls and/or via the Internet. This position primarily receives inbound calls from customers requesting assistance with their accounts/purchases on their devices. Calls range from assisting with account information or billing questions, educating customers on purchasing information, or processing refunds. Requirements

  • 1+ year of customer service experience
  • Strong focus on building customer relationships
  • Open availability
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • A quiet, distraction-free environment to work from in your home
  • Proficiency in fast-paced multi-tasking
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies
  • Strong computer navigation skills and PC knowledge
  • A desktop or laptop to complete PC and internet testing
  • High Speed internet (no wireless/hotspots or satellite) and a smartphone
  • Must reside in the United States and have a valid U.S. address for residence

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years customer service experience
  • Retail experience
  • Familiarity with iOS and/or MacOS, or comparable technology

Responsibilities

  • Provide inbound customer support using a call flow guide
  • Help customers complete purchases and provide post order support
  • Persuade customers to purchase additional products and/or services
  • Use product knowledge, build client relationships, and find new ways to retain customers
  • Track, document, and retrieve information in databases
  • Maintain broad knowledge of client products and/or services, such as: smartphones, tablets, computers, and wearables
  • Offer additional products and/or services
  • Deliver expert customer experiences…with a smile

  • The base salary for this position is $17.31/hr. (pay rate will not be below the applicable minimum wage). Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
