About The Position

Support Lauren Concrete by providing a “World Class Experience” within Customer Service Department. Dispatching of trucks in accordance with customer needs including scheduling and order-taking as needed. Responsible for providing a high level of customer service and delivery productivity.

  • Computer Skills: Experience with CommandBatch, CommandConcrete (dispatch), CommandOptimization, and TrackIt is preferred. Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word and Outlook).
  • Ability Represent Lauren Concrete in a professional manner in a variety of settings and circumstances
  • Ability Understand complex functions, procedures, and processes
  • Ability Express oneself clearly and concisely
  • Ability Accept responsibility for quality and accuracy of personal work
  • Strong attention to detail and effective interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to multi-task in a high stress, fast paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime.
  • Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision
  • One year of dispatching and customer service or similar or related experience.
  • Valid State of Texas driver’s license required along with a “violation-free” Department Motor Vehicle record, valid automobile liability insurance policy that meets or exceeds required limits of liability coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance of company safety regulations and policies
  • Dispatch trucks in accordance with customer needs.
  • Provide a high level of customer service.
  • Communicate with customers, plant operators and truck drivers.
  • Coordinate scheduling with customer service representatives and operations
  • Efficiently and productively allocate resources across the day.
  • Support a positive and productive work environment and demonstrate a positive example for others.
