About The Position
Join PharMerica as a Customer Service Pharmacy Technician in Vancourver, WA! In this role, you’ll play an important part in ensuring accurate and efficient medication order triage and data entry, helping our pharmacy operations run smoothly while supporting patient care. Schedules: Sunday - Wednesday 2:00pm - 12:30am +$1/hr shift differential Why PharMerica? Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- One year of previous experience with direct client communication - customer service
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Must have good oral communication skills, attention to detail, and problem solving skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior healthcare/pharmacy experience preferred
- Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Answer and submit inquiries regarding patient information and medication therapies
- Take requests for refill orders, out on pass, patient discharge orders, and special delivery requests
- Assist the pharmacist with facility and physician office communications
- Obtain patient information for our database by calling patient care representatives and physician offices
- Utilize judgement in knowing when to escalate issues to the management level
- Utilize various programs such as Outlook, Excel and Microsoft Word
- Complete assigned projects upon request in a timely manner
- Perform other tasks as assigned
