About The Position

S&G Carpet and More is seeking a new Customer Service Manager for the Sacramento region! S&G Carpet is dedicated to providing the premiere customer service experience to its customers. And as a Customer Service Manager, you will help ensure that S&G continues to set that industry standard. As a Customer Service Manager, you will visit job site locations to help troubleshoot day-of-installation problems, work ensure a smooth installation experience for the customer, and diagnose/resolve any customer concerns that might arise through service tickets. This is a salaried (exempt) position based out of Rancho Cordova, but this role will service the greater Sacramento area. Flooring is a growing $15.5 billion per year industry with opportunity for career advancement. Requirements

  • Effective time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills
  • A knowledge of floor covering installation and floor covering products
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Attentive to customer needs; capable of responding in a timely manner
  • Prompt, dependable, and responsive to Company needs
  • Capable of preserving confidential or sensitive information
  • Exceptional team player and skilled at working well under pressure
  • Strong computer skills
  • At least a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Positive, confident attitude; able to comfortably navigate stressful situations
  • Floor covering installation/product knowledge
  • A servant’s mindset (understand and exhibit servant leadership)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform light-to-moderate physical activity throughout the day

Responsibilities

  • Visit job site locations to help troubleshoot day-of-installation problems
  • Work ensure a smooth installation experience for the customer
  • Diagnose/resolve any customer concerns that might arise through service tickets
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
