Build associate and customer relations and promote a strong culture in support of Food Lion Strategy. Maintain solid communications with the management team, all associates in the store and throughout the organization. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage all Front End operations including Service Center, Self-Checkout and Food Lion To-Go, if applicable. Hire, train, and develop associates to meet department needs. Supervise duties and provide performance management. Provide leadership and promote brand culture. Support financials, operating results, and KPIs. Smile and promote enthusiastic customer service. Role model outstanding customer service. Control store expenses. Use company tools such as financial reports, ACIS, scheduling, CAO apps. Ensure department quality, safety, and sanitation. Ensure schedules meet standards. Maintain front end registers and equipment. Ensure cashiers review sales flyers. Monitor shrink and inventory. Ensure control of store funds and assets. Observe and correct unsafe conditions. Report associate and customer accidents. Compliance with regulations. Adhere to company guidelines. Maintain security standards. Complete CBT training. Provide recognition and constructive counseling. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school graduate preferred. Ability to lead a team. Understanding of store operations. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Good judgment and problem-solving. Ability to learn multiple tasks. Use technical information for problem-solving. Meet minimum age requirements. Meet physical job requirements. Certified Food Safety Manager or obtain within 90 days. Physical Requirements: Use computers and smart devices. Use handheld computers. Stand 100% of the time. Push/pull up to 2000 lbs with pallet jack. Repetitive hand motions. Lift 15 lbs continuously, 25 lbs frequently, 100 lbs occasionally. Handle cleaning and packaging materials. Reach at various levels. Meet volume activity standards. Tolerate hot/cold temps for 20 minutes. Sufficient visual ability.
