About The Position

We are hiring a Customer Service & Government Contracts Representative to identify contract opportunities, prepare bid packages, and submit compliant proposals, while also supporting customer service and house accounts. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-driven, deadline-focused, and enjoys turning complex requirements into clean, accurate submissions. Custom Fabricating & Supplies (CFS) supports manufacturers with precision die cutting, industrial masking, and custom rubber molding, including silicone caps & plugs, high-performance tapes, custom die cuts, and flexible components such as gaskets, seals, and spacers. Established in 2000, CFS operates from its Franklin, WI headquarters with additional locations across the U.S. CFS is an ISO 9001:2015 certified company and a 3M Preferred Converter, serving customers who expect quality, consistency, and reliable turnaround. Requirements

  • Strong written/verbal communication and high attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with deadlines, checklists, and documentation.
  • Able to juggle multiple priorities without dropping accuracy.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • 3+ years customer service experience.

  • B2B/manufacturing customer service experience.
  • Government bid/contract experience.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively search for and identify government contract opportunities aligned with CFS products and capabilities.
  • Review solicitations and determine bid requirements, eligibility, and submission instructions.
  • Compile, organize, and prepare bid documentation and supporting materials (pricing inputs, technical details, compliance items).
  • Ensure bid packages are accurate, complete, and submitted on time in compliance with all stated requirements.
  • Maintain organized records of bids, submissions, and supporting documentation for tracking and follow-up.
  • Coordinate internally with Sales/Operations/Estimating/Engineering to gather what's needed to submit strong, compliant bids.
  • Serve as a primary contact for customer questions, quotes, and order processing.
  • Maintain accurate customer records in ERP/CRM systems.
  • Coordinate internally to support on-time delivery and clear customer communication.
  • Prospect lightly via research/email/calls to support growth.
