About The Position

At our company, our Customer Service Coordinators (CSC) are more than just service providers; they are central resources for customer support. As a CSC, you will manage the entire order flow process, from quote to manufacturing release, and strive to exceed customer expectations. You will handle everything from new account setup, pricing, quoting, collecting credit information, order processing, and assisting with aging resolution. As a key point of contact for buying customers across all our product lines, you will play a pivotal role in our customer-centric approach. As a Customer Service Coordinator (CSC), you will: Account Management: Establish and maintain specific account relationships, acting as the primary inside point of contact for buying customers from the initial quote through production. Resource Support: Serve as the resource for information and problem-solving, collaborating with operations and field personnel to ensure customer satisfaction. Order Processing: Directly facilitate customer requests for quotes and scope of work deliverables for all products in your assigned territory. Order Management: Process orders, provide product submittals, drawings, down payment confirmations, and assist with problem resolution and receivables. Data Management: Maintain project records, documentation, and data in our customer relationship management (CRM) system. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our manufacturing process and plant capabilities for products sold in your assigned market to exceed customer expectations. Issue Resolution: Resolve inquiries related to errors in invoicing, pricing, or incorrect shipments, escalating as necessary. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with various internal departments, including Sales, Field Marketing, Manufacturing, Credit, and Operations, to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 1 year of customer service or sales experience, preferably with complex products in the construction or manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills involving multiple variables.
  • Demonstrated analytical and technical competencies.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including MS Office and CRM databases.
