About The Position

Customer Service Agents work in our Ticket Booth and Gift Shop outlets. Customer Service Agents will be positioned in both of these positions as needed throughout the season. This position communicates directly with guests by providing information about all aspects of the Waterpark, assists with ticket sales, and season pass processing and is responsible for all sales transactions, and maintenance of the appearance of displays and merchandise in the gift shop. Minimum Age Requirement: 16 Years Old This is a seasonal position beginning as early as Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Department Training and Orientation must be attended prior to starting.

Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older, retail experience is preferred.
  • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Personal drive, action-oriented, quick learner.
  • Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced team environment as well as work independently.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, multi-tasking, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Exceptional organization, and strong attention to detail.
  • Flexible Schedule.
  • Must be prepared to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily ticket and diaper sales, processing season passes, and handling customer requests.
  • Responsible for knowing all prices and promotions available.
  • Customer Service Agents are responsible for implementing park policies and making the policies clear to the guests.
  • Works with the Customer Service Manager to process final payments for group, cabana and party bookings.
  • Customer Service Agents are responsible for handling large sums of money and high volumes of guests; ability to work quickly and accurately is a must.
  • Follows correct cash handling procedures.
  • Responsible for all gift shop displays and merchandise sales, and handling guest requests with the highest level of professionalism.
  • Responsible for stocking the gift shop.
  • Assist with counting, and maintaining inventory par levels at all times.
  • Works with the Customer Service Manager to stock and display merchandise.
  • Responds to all guests needs or complaints while maintaining the highest level of respect and professionalism at all times.
  • Willing to assist in other areas of park operations such as Bag Check Security, Park Appearance, Food & Beverage and Slide Attendants.
  • All Splashdown Beach staff are required to assist in maintaining park cleanliness and ensuring guest safety.
