About The Position

If there is a big event happening, Smart City is behind the scenes making sure every connection stays strong. Our team of more than 250 professionals keeps everything running nationwide. At our Las Vegas headquarters, you will find our customer service, accounting, and technology teams, along with our 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC), which keeps every network secure, monitored, and performing at its best. As a Customer Sales and Service Representative (CSSR), you will be one of the friendly, knowledgeable voices and faces our customers rely on. You will help exhibitors get connected, solve problems quickly, and guide them toward the services that make their event experience even better.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; AA or BA preferred
  • One to three years of customer or exhibitor service experience preferred
  • Knowledge of data networking products and services is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong phone‑based customer service experience and confidence interacting with customers and management
  • Ability to type 45 wpm
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Word, Excel, Aesop, and 10‑key preferred
  • Availability for occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and resolve technical issues with customers’ internet connections
  • Receive and process customer orders with accuracy and enthusiasm
  • Recommend and sell value‑added services that enhance the customer experience
  • Support Field Offices with timely communication and problem solving
  • Provide on‑site desk support at show locations when needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
