About The Position

Independence Corrugated, a subsidiary of Schwarz Partners and corrugated manufacturing industry leader, currently has an exciting opportunity available for a Customer Service Account Manager in Oak Creek, WI. As a Customer Service Account Manager, you are the liaison between our customers and the plant. You are responsible for receiving and processing material orders directly from customers via telephone, internet, or email in a timely and accurate manner. You will inform customers of unit prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by our customers. You will also aid in sustaining operational flow within the plant by supporting our strategies and work standards. Our Customer Service Representatives (CSR) are the face and voice of this results driven company. Interacting with the customers on a daily basis, relationships are built that will continue to push our ability to service the customers to the next level. On top of building relationships, CSRs are tasked with ensuring accurate data entry on up to $500k+ of orders each and every day.

Requirements

  • An energetic, motivated, and dependable worker who is dedicated to the job and team.
  • A minimum of 3 years of customer service experience in an office setting.
  • A minimum of 2 years of data entry experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Exceptional and clear written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize one’s time effectively.
  • Must be an effective time manager with the ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment with cutting-edge technology.
  • The ability to function as a mature, professional individual, who interacts positively with teammates.
  • Ability to function effectively in a team yet function independently with minimal direction.
  • Customer Relationship Management.
  • Day-to-day customer interactions.
  • Order Management.

Nice To Haves

  • An administrative, business, or management degree is preferred.
  • Customer service experience in a manufacturing company preferred.
