Requirements

  • Must have completed a minimum of 2 years at an accredited university.
  • Minimum 3.2 GPA.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis at the time the internship begins and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status.

Responsibilities

  • Support Panasonic Energy's Customer Quality team working with Tesla Quality team.
  • Analyze and evaluate process inputs/outputs by utilizing statistics, programming languages (Python), visualization software (JMP), SPC/SQC concepts (Western Electric Rules), MSA (Gage R&R), and validation techniques (cell disassembly).
  • Updating and maintaining quality documentation related to customer quality processes.
  • Design and develop offline quality related parts to improve inspection efficiency as well as safety.
  • Design and implement processes to support cell testing to an ISO9001, 2015 compliance level.
  • Utilizing lab equipment to gather data to support project objectives.
