Requirements

  • 3+ years of related work experience (Customer Service, Inside Sales, or B2B experience preferred)
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of organization, accuracy, and multitasking
  • Strong ability and desire to learn about our products and services
  • Ability to balance individual responsibilities with team goals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus
  • Must consent to a background investigation and pre-employment drug screening.
  • Employment is conditional upon successful completion of these requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by:
  • Responding promptly and professionally to inbound customer inquiries and building strong, long‑term B2B relationships
  • Understanding customer applications and providing basic technical product support, including product selection and compliant Swagelok solutions
  • Processing and managing customer quote requests, purchase orders, and order changes with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Managing data within SAP Business One and various internal CRM systems
  • Following up on open quotes, opportunities, and supporting the Sales team in meeting team goals
  • Proactively communicating order status, resolving discrepancies, and confirming requirements
  • Collaborating cross‑functionally with Warehouse, Field Engineering, Custom Solutions, outside vendors, and other teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, special projects, and ongoing training
