About The Position

The Customer Marketing Intern (CMI) is a self-motivated team member, responsible for supporting customer marketing and engagement activities within the Mission Driven Organization (MDO) Business Unit (BU). The CMI will work closely with the Senior Customer Marketing Specialist to deliver impactful customer engagement opportunities that leverage customer relationships for marketing initiatives and help to drive expansion sales pipeline. At the end of the internship, the CMI will present a summary project to marketing and commercial leaders.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communication or related field
  • Ability to work both independently, seek guidance as needed, and work within a global team across time zones
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong planning, organization and project management skills
  • Ability to think critically, detail-oriented and has a growth mindset to deliver successful results

Responsibilities

  • Support the process of identifying, creating and publishing positive customer stories
  • Develop a library of customer reference accounts and contacts to support sales and marketing needs
  • Support positive customer interactions and engagement via review sites and social media accounts
  • Assist with planning customer focus groups and advisory panels in collaboration with Product Marketing and Customer Marketing owners
  • Collaborate with Product, Product Marketing and Customer Success to deliver quarterly product webinars for existing customers
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to support customer upsell and cross-sell activities
