Position Overview: L.L.Bean is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Marketing Analytics Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in customer analytics, data-driven marketing strategies, and business insights.

  • Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing customer data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive corporate strategies, including merchandising, inventory planning, finance, eCommerce, retail, and more.
  • Reporting: Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and campaign performance.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to understand customer behavior, preferences, and market trends.
  • Campaign Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to support the execution and analysis of marketing campaigns.
  • Data Management: Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing data cleaning and validation tasks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including marketing, sales, and IT, to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and familiarity with PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Passion for outdoor activities and alignment with L.L.Bean's mission and values.
  • Ensures compliance with the L.L.Bean Comprehensive Health and Safety program by knowing and following all safety guidelines, policies, procedures and expectations.  Take immediate and appropriate action to rectify any unsafe conditions.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with data analysis software (e.g., R, Python) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office systems preferred
  • Hands-on experience in customer marketing analytics and data-driven decision-making.
