About The Position

The Customer & Market Insights Analyst plays a critical role in driving data-informed decisions across marketing and sales functions. This role supports the development and implementation of advanced analytics models to understand customer behavior, optimize marketing performance, and enable strategic decision-making. The analyst will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver actionable insights that enhance customer acquisition, retention, and profitability.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, Social Sciences or a related field.
  • 3-5 years experience in marketing analytics, customers insights, or a similar role.
  • Strong technical proficiency with SQL, Excel, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), statistical software (e.g., SAS, Python, R), and familiarity with cloud platforms like Databricks, Azure, or AWS.
  • Proficiency with data cleansing, reporting, and ad-hoc analysis while leading customer insights initiatives such as Customer Lifetime Value, marketing attribution, and complex modeling to inform strategic marketing decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex insights clearly and persuasively to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement analytics models to assess customer lifecycle stages including acquisition, churn, profitability, and tenure.
  • Conduct segmentation analysis to identify high-value customer attributes and behaviors.
  • Partner with Brand and Lead Generation teams to tailor messaging and tactics based on insights.
  • Support and manage customer research projects through survey development and implementation.
  • Measure the effectiveness of brand and demand generation campaigns using attribution models, ROI, and engagement metrics.
  • Monitor key marketing KPIs (e.g., MQLs, conversion rates, CAC) and recommend optimizations.
  • Generate insight briefs to inform marketing strategy and resource allocation.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports to visualize marketing and customer metrics.
  • Assist in onboarding and adoption of analytics tools and models (e.g., CLV model, segmentation engine).
  • Ensure marketing data integrity in alignment with analytics and data governance standards.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing Ops, Sales, and Product teams to connect insights to tactical decisions.
  • Translate insights into presentations and materials to support senior leadership decision-making.
  • Support ongoing marketing and sales initiatives through customer targeting, reporting, and ad-hoc projects.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
