About The Position

The Customer Insights Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting customer/dealer data to help better understand customer behavior, preferences, and trends to optimize their Weiler experience. This role turns data into actionable insights that support product development, marketing strategy, customer experience improvements, and business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, data analytics, economics, statistics, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in analytics, market research, customer insights, or similar role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both over the phone and in person. Ability to read, write and comprehend documents and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to internal and external individuals and groups. Ability to display active listening skills and ask the appropriate questions.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, SQL, data visualization tools, including experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence platforms.
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills.
  • Understanding and ability to use AI safely to enhance insights.
  • Ability to turn large, complex data sets into clear insights.
  • Strong communication and storytelling abilities.
  • Understanding of customer behavior and marketing principles.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze customer data from CRM/ERP systems and market research.
  • Identify customer behavior patterns, trends, and preferences.
  • Build dashboards and reports that track key customer metrics.
  • Partner with parts, marketing and product teams to create targeted campaigns and tailored experiences.
  • Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Monitor market and competitor trends to understand external factors affecting customer behavior.
  • Translate data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare findings and insight summaries to measure and demonstrate success for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Communicate complex data in a clear, visual, and actionable manner.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, engineering, and customer experience teams.
  • Recommend actions to improve customer satisfaction, and overall engagement.
