About The Position

A Customer Fulfillment Representative will serve as the interface between the company and customers. They are responsible for ensuring that customers’ orders are fulfilled in a timely and satisfactory manner, so customers return and refer the business to other potential customers. This position will cross between customer service, warehouse operations and sales support. Since customers are a company’s bread and butter, finding the right combination of skills is well worth the time spent in the selection process.

Requirements

  • The Customer Fulfilment Representative should preferably possess a high school diploma or GED. Additionally, this role requires a valid driver’s license.
  • Previous working experience overseeing general supply chain management processes in a physical demands warehouse environment.
  • This includes standing continuously, lifting up to 50lbs unassisted and repetitive use of hands/manual dexterity.
  • Strong time management skills, along with multi-tasking, prioritizing and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, organize, and prioritize job tasks to aid in satisfying customer requirements.
  • Goal oriented and self-motivated with ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Customer oriented and motivated with solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in QAD and Microsoft Offices, specifically Microsoft Excel
  • The qualified candidate must also possess the ability to work overtime, when necessary

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience in distribution environment a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain customer relationships with a wide variety of clients including many Fortune 500 companies.
  • Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders via phone, email, instant message, and web-based solutions throughout the entire order to remittance process.
  • Translate the voice of the customer to assist in continually improving customer service levels which exceed customer requirements and expectations.
  • Act as an extension of the branch sales force and Global Sales Organization to support key program initiatives and ensure customer satisfaction standards are met.
  • Handle customer inquiries, process orders and resolve customer issues promptly using root-cause analysis.
  • Lead and coordinate all warehouse operations including delivery, inbound and outbound processes, safety requirements, VMI and special customer requirements.
  • Assists in managing an accurate, revolving inventory of fastener parts and rigorously investigate any inventory discrepancies.
  • Proactively manage customer open order data to maximize fill rates and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and coordinate all warehouse operations including delivery scheduling, inbound and outbound processes, safety requirements, VMI and special customer requirements.
  • Assists in the shipping, receiving, picking, and putting away of parts and customers order.
