About The Position

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Burbank, CA area from June 2026 – January 2027. What You Will Do: The mission of the Customer Experience Team is to optimize the value of customer data for use in building direct customer relationships and delivering relevant customer experiences across The Walt Disney Company’s brands and businesses globally. As a central resource for company-wide customer data, the team partners with stakeholders across the company to establish data practices, policies and capabilities to collect, use and share data in support of business objectives, while maintaining respectful consumer data practices. You’ll assist with planning and project management of data product initiatives and maintenance of business and technical documentation, along with data catalog maintenance including metadata management.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Highly organized with project management skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and on multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Interest in improving guest experience through personalization and fair information practices
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Full availability required to work full-time hours (approximately 40 per week) for the duration of the internship with 4 days in office and 1 day Work From Home
  • Able to provide own housing and reliable transportation to/from work in the Burbank, CA, area

Nice To Haves

  • Strong interest in the use of data for marketing and personalization
  • Knowledge or familiarity with data privacy issues, online registration, and email marketing a plus
  • Junior or Senior year preferred
  • Majoring in Business, Communications, Marketing, Technology or related field

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing Disney business unit email marketing campaigns for brand and legal compliance
  • Maintaining brand guidelines based on input from team subject matter experts
  • Coordinating with business unit partners on marketing and data quality initiatives
  • Conducting competitive research on customer information practices and user experience of other online properties
  • Coordinating and updating guest-facing privacy content
