About The Position

OVERVIEW: Work with the project lead to collect information related to requirements for implementing a CRM case management process. Outline the detailed Customer Experience team requirements and current challenges to better help the account teams provide consistent customer support. Intern will be given a hands-on, collaborative project with real business impact. You will work closely with the Directors, Senior Managers, Program Managers and Logistics Analysts to understand what questions or problems they are being asked to solve and help outline the commonality and differences between customer support cases for same/similar operations to assist with decision making or provide input on what is needed to better support our customer base. This internship requires great communication skills and the ability to work across several teams to align the technology with the business goals and objectives. You will be working with motivated and helpful teams that will give you the support you need to succeed. The given projects will require self-accountability and necessary research to provide results with a positive business impact.

Requirements

  • Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field of study
  • Experience with large data sets and story telling
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, formulas, pivot tables, charges / graphs
  • Self-managed
  • Strategic thinking
  • Candidates must be within 250 miles of an APL Logistics facility or office.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the project team to understand and outline the case management tool needs for the Customer Experience team as a whole.
  • Identification of common support needs and opportunities to apply consistent, standard processes.
  • Provide assistance in review and validation of team/customer data (email boxes, contacts globally).
  • Create customer specific profile/rules details based on LP details.
  • Update team template Support implementation team
