Pythian Careers What you will be doing: Technical Sales Engagement As assigned by sales leadership, engages with targeted customer organizations. Understands customer business and establishes technical and business credibility with clients providing the ability to cultivate relationships and envision creative sales and solution strategies that generate additional revenue. Participates (with Solution Architect and subject matter experts as needed) in defining holistic solutions from both business and technical perspective across all pythian capability areas, taking into account all realities and constraints such as costs, contract terms, business conditions and the technical environment of the client. Organizes and leads technical customer needs identification and scoping calls including ensuring participation of relevant subject matter experts across Pythian. Participates with the Solution Architect in the creation of customer specific services and technology solutions to include coordinating a team of line of business, solutions, delivery and PM resources, integrating partner technology and teams and owns the production of the client facing SoW. Delivers and sells the technical solution strategy and vision to senior client executives ensuring the solution embodies company win themes and key differentiators while meeting client expectations and requirements thereby providing the company the best chance to compete and win. Influence QBR agendas to align and accelerate account development strategies. Customer Relationship Development Creates and cultivates key trusted-advisor relationships with senior level IT executives demonstrating an understanding of key business challenges within customer markets and how company technology-enabled business solutions can address those needs. Provides leadership to help customers understand best practices around advanced cloud-based data and application solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud including modernization and transformation of applications, data platforms and analytics solutions. Leverages public and private cloud technologies to continuously find ways to solve customer needs and advise customers on technology standards, methodologies and processes as they relate to their infrastructure, data and applications estate. Own the technical, services and architecture agenda for named customers and drive the account innovation component for QBRs and other key customer engagements. Partner Alignment & Technical Relationship Management Build and maintain relationships with partner pre-sales, solutions and customer engineers. Maintain and add continually add individual partner technical certifications and support the achievement of corporate specializations and program inclusions. Conduct joint technical strategy sessions with partner engineers and engagement managers. Offering and Portfolio Expansion within Account Base Provides feedback of customer/prospect/partner interactions on offerings, relationship, delivery, and competitive knowledge Provides recommendations to offering organization on new offerings, upgrades/augmentation to enhance corporate competency in meeting the needs of customers. Participation with introducing new offerings to our customers and building a technical roadmap for Portfolio Expansion within each customer. Customer Success and Technical Escalation Build a strong relationship with our architects, engineers and project managers, rolling up your sleeves and going deep technically as you work through the details of a particular solution or client challenge. Act as a point of technical consultation for both client and partner contacts. Work to ensure the customer is highly satisfied with all solutions delivered and is a referenceable customer.
