This role is located in Somerville, MA - We are a hybrid work environment and are in the office 3+ days/per week. As a Customer Solutions Engineer at Tulip, you will understand customer needs, lead solution development, manage enterprise-level projects, and collaborate with customers/partners on implementation. Our SOLVE team is responsible for providing technical support, building relationships, improving internal processes, and serving as the customer's voice to Product and technical teams. About You: You understand the operations environment in the manufacturing industry, and have ideas on how to improve it. You are genuine, humble, and curious You are process oriented and know how to take on and lead a large project You are comfortable handling customer stakeholders from the shop floor to the C-suite You know the challenges of day to day manufacturing operations, and you believe there is a better way You are comfortable managing high visibility projects and interacting C-suite executives from F500 companies You want to contribute to the revolution and build something big. Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of manufacturing industry experience, experience in project management, manufacturing or process engineering preferred
  • Operations Technology (MES, ERP) background is a plus; at a min you know some SQL and have some basic coding experience
  • Strong project management, organization, and communication skills, oral and written
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically
  • A demonstrated dedication to considering things from the customer’s perspective
  • Aptitude to learn fast and a demonstrated ability to lead by example
  • BS Degree: Engineering, or similar

Responsibilities

  • Partner with our customers to understand their challenges, goals for Tulip, and lead solution development for customer-specific processes
  • Manage and execute enterprise-level customer projects using Tulip
  • Work side by side with customers and partners to develop and implement Tulip solutions
  • Provide ongoing customer technical support and build and maintain relationships
  • Contribute to internal process building, improvement, and collaboration
  • Represent voice of customer to Product and technical teams internally
