About The Position

Lead a team of loyalty and consumer digital analysts and manage all efforts and processes involving customer analytics and delivering data-driven strategic recommendations to each respective Marketing team. Act as a key ally to the loyalty and consumer digital management teams to help optimize customer strategies and grow their programs through acquisition and engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with an emphasis in a financial, statistical, or analytical discipline required.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ combined experience in Data Analytics and/or Strategic Marketing or Consumer Insights related field required.
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory/management experience required.
  • Proficient in query/programming languages, data visualization software (Tableau) and Excel required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Statistics, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize the development of internal talent through regular performance coaching, performance reviews and presenting developmental opportunities.
  • Manage the structure that aligns dedicated analysts to both loyalty and consumer digital, ensuring that managers are given the analytics support they need to make informed decisions.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the loyalty and digital teams that lead to increased engagement and customer spend, which will help them reach their budgeted goals and drive incrementality for the business.
  • Work with the loyalty team to optimize our targeted customer communication strategies to help grow ROI for measurable test/control campaigns.
  • Make recommendations for both the loyalty inside and fuel expense yearly budgets, ensuring that projects align to overall budgeted sales goals, and we produce strong returns on this investment.
  • Manage the analysis request process and close the loop with requesters, reaching out to determine timing, supplying the results, and then following up to ensure necessities were met and actions were taken, if applicable.
  • Understand all different statistical methodologies and data visualization techniques and make informed decisions to help the customer engagement analysts provide significant insights that have larger impacts on bottom-line decision-making.
  • Understand our full database structure and where different data elements are stored.
