About The Position

The Customer Delivery Technician (CDT) at Fernandina Beach is a critical role that ensures the reliability, continuity, and performance of our on‑site chemical and treatment operations—directly enabling our Sales Executive to focus on strategic growth at both of the Fernandina Beach mills, and pursue new customer acquisition In Jacksonville area. This position is foundational to our ability to deliver consistent value and maintain exceptional service standards. The CDT will perform essential daily operational tasks including influent chemistry jar testing, chlorine residual monitoring, cooling tower testing, inventory management, and hands‑on pump maintenance and repair. The role also manages chemical handling protocols, supports equipment installations, and ensures the safe and efficient operation of all on-site treatment systems.

• 2 - 3 years Job Experience

Responsibilities

• Managing the operations and performance of equipment in a manner that makes Buckman attractive and prevents attrition
• Customer Delivery Tech should support Sales Executive in the execution of savings projects to the customer to help improve their process (>10% of sales each year)
• Customer Delivery Tech should reduce service workload for Sales Executive so that annual sales targets can be reached by increasing volumes or obtaining new applications
• Servicing the account in a manner that keeps the customer happy
