Advanced Radiology is one of the largest independent radiology practices in the tri-state area with the most experienced radiologists. We are looking for a Customer Care Representative to join our team. The pay range for this role will depend on experience and qualifications. Position Summary: This customer service oriented role is on the front-line of answering calls and scheduling appointments for patients. Customer Care Representatives answer calls in a friendly, welcoming, and timely manner while verifying patient information and executing pre-screening duties.

Requirements

Ability to multi-task and function in a fast paced, high call volume environment.
Demonstrates initiative in problem solving and resolving customer satisfaction issues
Excellent organizational skills
Customer service skills - empathetic, active listener, who has strong follow through skills
Proficient computer skills and data entry skills
Critical thinking – the ability to think creatively, problem solve and work independently
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

Answer telephone calls to schedule appointments for new or current patients.
Outbound calls to schedule appointments.
Reviews preps, follows scheduling guidelines and prescreens patients appropriately.
Verifies and updates patient demographic data and insurance coverage while scheduling appointments.
Respects patient confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA standards.
Follows up with patients through various communication channels.
