About The Position

Skills/Experience Required: Processes new patient registration by entering data into the appropriate system. Introduce Larkin Outpatient Pharmacy Services to patients as needed. Makes outbound calls to patients as needed and addresses questions and/or concerns via telephone. Performs clerical functions that support the provision of quality pharmacy services to patients. Coordinate patient care with appropriate medical and pharmacy staff. Offer courteous, compassionate, and reliable services to all patients. Identifies and communicates issues to the Pharmacy Supervisor as appropriate. Represents the organization positively and professionally. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • State Pharmacy Technician license (Florida) license required
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Basic level PC skills (for example: start up and shut down the computer, use the mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between programs, save files, print documents, and/or access information online).
  • Job function requires extended standing or walking.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with critical thinking and professional composure.
  • Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician is highly preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
