Shields Health Care Group is looking for an energetic individual with an interest in pursuing a career in the healthcare industry. The Customer Care Intern will report to the Customer Care Hub Manager and support the entire Customer Care Department with responsibilities including but not limited to: Assist with various internal and external programs and initiatives. Complete administrative responsibilities as needed including filing, research, and answering phones. Uses Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other Microsoft office tools to develop Customer Care needs. Appointment scheduling, rescheduling and canceling in a professional manner. Screen patients over the telephone for contradictions to MRI. Accurately document responses in RIS system. Create necessary follow up if needed. Acquire the necessary information to submit a claim for payment and receive reimbursement.
