About The Position

SUMMARY: The Customer Care Associate will support companywide Sales efforts by initiating or receiving and processing customer orders and driving Sales via their contact with customers. They also work closely with other departments to ensure a smooth process and assist with tasks as needed.

Requirements

College education is preferred but not required. Produce experience is preferred.
Must display basic arithmetic skills and have 2 years Data Entry Experience
Administrative experience is required. Excellent communication and organization skills as well as having the ability to problem solve and building relationship with customers. Proficient in MS Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel. Must possess excellent customer relations skills and be detail oriented. Ability to deal with constant change. Accuracy with figures and the ability to work efficiently and independently. Able to learn new software packages – Prophet & Produce Pro.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service to every customer, every call
Answer incoming calls and emails in an efficient manner and address customer complaints, inquiries and concerns
Identify customer needs, upselling and refer any issues to management
Keying orders into the system, printing and editing orders
Enter data into computer system accurately and efficiently.
Filing the day’s paperwork numerically
Managing inventory and filing systems.
Assist sales staff with their daily workload & cover for sales staff when they are out of the office or on sales calls
Run and update inventory and pricing reports
Interface with warehouse, operations, and sales personnel
Interface with product purchasing staff as needed to make sure we have availability
Assist other departments to ensure the smooth workflow throughout the company
Performs other duties as assigned
