Role reports to: Senior Manager Omni SM Club Location: North America, United States, New Jersey, Summit Work Location: Hybrid What you will do The Customer Activation Manager is responsible for executing retailer shopper marketing and online and digital marketing programs, gathering and translating ideas into profitable campaigns, analyzing program effectiveness, and collaborating with the corporate marketing team to maximize initiatives and develop new ones. The position reports to the Senior Manager of Customer Activation.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required in related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in digital marketing and shopper/retailer marketing
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data and metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and inform decision‑making
  • Ability to manage funds and resources to deliver the greatest outcome for the company
  • Experience translating business and marketing objectives into actionable campaigns that drive traffic, engagement, and revenue
  • Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, sales, eCommerce, analytics, and external partners to deliver integrated initiatives
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Strategy, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience partnering with large, complex omnichannel retailers and navigating their unique operational, promotional, and compliance requirements

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to drive online traffic and engagement
  • Manage and optimize digital advertising campaigns across various platforms
  • Analyze data and metrics to track performance and make data-driven decisions
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve digital marketing efforts
  • Develop and implement innovative internet marketing strategies to optimize online user experience, increase marketing effectiveness, and improve customer satisfaction
  • Lead and manage digital marketing programs including search optimization, affiliated marketing, social networking, and viral marketing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate ideas into profitable, promotional marketing campaigns
  • Analyze program effectiveness and utilize findings to enhance market site performance
  • Drive the development of new marketing initiatives in alignment with corporate marketing goals
