We’re hiring an Activation Manager to own one of the most critical phases of our customer journey — transforming new restaurant partners into active, engaged, and long-term success stories. As the Activation Manager, you’ll manage the first 90 days of the customer lifecycle, guiding new accounts from contract signature to full adoption. You’ll onboard, launch, and drive product usage across a portfolio of 60–75 accounts, ensuring each restaurant quickly experiences measurable results and sees the value of Boostly’s platform. Success in this role means high activation rates, strong early retention, and seamless transitions to our Customer Success team — all while identifying opportunities to convert month-to-month customers into annual agreements. This is a full-time, in-person role based in our Lehi, Utah office.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in customer onboarding, customer success, or a similar customer-facing role.
  • Proven ability to manage 50+ active accounts with precision and organization.
  • Strong communication skills across phone, email, and text.
  • Highly organized with excellent task and time management.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
  • Naturally proactive — you take ownership and figure things out.
  • Curiosity, enthusiasm, and optimism — paired with a “get things done” attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with marketing or SaaS tools, especially in SMS or digital marketing.
  • Experience in restaurant, hospitality, or food service industries.
  • Background in project management or process improvement.
  • Comfort with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce) or workflow automation tools.

Responsibilities

  • Be the primary point of contact for new customers throughout their first 90 days with Boostly.
  • Onboard and launch new restaurant partners, ensuring a fast path to value.
  • Hold post-launch reviews to highlight early wins and set clear next steps toward full activation.
  • Conduct two formal account reviews (~45 days and ~90 days) before transitioning customers to long-term success management.
  • Proactively identify red flags and develop action plans to improve account health.
  • Convert month-to-month contracts into annual agreements by demonstrating measurable success.
  • Surface and share customer insights to improve internal processes and influence product priorities.
  • Collect testimonials, case studies, reviews, and referrals when accounts are thriving — and manage tough conversations when needed.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve internal activation playbooks and customer outcomes.
