This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in supporting business divestiture activities while maintaining continuity for our customers. As a Customer Account Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customer repair activity impacted by divestiture, ensuring contractual, regulatory, and customer obligations are met throughout the separation process. In this highly visible role, you’ll partner closely with internal teams and external customers to administer contracts, manage customer communication, and ensure all activities are executed accurately, compliantly, and on schedule.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Working experience in contracts, customer account management, or warranty administration, ideally in an aerospace or defense environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • MRO industry experience with an understanding of repair order processes, service contracts, and aftermarket customer support.
  • Leadership experience with a high-volume customer service team, including performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Experience implementing process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Customer Account Specialist supporting divestiture-related activities.
  • Execute assigned tasks to ensure continuity of customer support.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, tracking, and closure of repair orders in alignment with internal procedures.
  • Manage customer interaction, acting as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Ensure all separation activities are executed in compliance with contractual obligations, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to Global Trade compliance requirements across all customer transactions.
  • Provide practical to substantial knowledge of Collins Aerospace projects, programs, or systems to enhance daily operations and support broader organizational goals.
