Affordable Home Furnishings is seeking a Full-Time Customer Account Representative to join their dynamic team. This role is primarily onsite but also involves field engagement with customers, guiding them through the rent-to-own process for furniture, appliances, and electronics, and helping them acquire ownership of items for their homes. The position offers a blend of sales, exceptional customer service, account management, and collections, with daily opportunities to interact with customers and solve challenges. Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the showroom floor is inviting and ready for customers
  • Setting up visually appealing showroom displays
  • Assembling new furniture, appliances, and electronics
  • Refurbishing previously rented items
  • Providing exceptional customer service in-store and over the phone
  • Assisting customers with sales
  • Loading and unloading trucks for deliveries and returns
  • Handling service calls and offering guidance to customers regarding their rented merchandise
  • Diagnosing issues that may arise with rented merchandise
  • Contacting customers to renew expired rental agreements (collections)
  • Utilizing phone outreach and field visits to maintain strong relationships and customer accounts
