About The Position

Mercury Electronics has a challenging opportunity available for a talented, enthusiastic and motivated Customer Account Representative. Under general direction of the Sales Manager, the Customer Account Representative will provide superior service to new and current customers in our fast paced, dynamic environment. This position has high visibility within the company and potential for career advancement. Duties include, but are not limited to: Providing customer support for existing customer accounts. Develop and grow relationships with current customer base Generate leads and pursue new prospective customers Processing quotes and establishing pricing for current customer assemblies. Identifying, researching and resolving data discrepancies Maintaining customer and supplier records Complete cycle sales from lead generation to closing the sale Qualifications/Requirements: Candidate qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to: Must be highly organized, detail oriented and possess strong analytical skills Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Knowledge of manufacturing processes and concepts Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and bill of materials Proficiency with the following software is required: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook) Experience with any of the following software packages are a plus: Epicor or similar ERP systems FilePro Experience with government contracts is preferred Travel will be limited but can include day and overnight travel to customer facilities. Requirements

  • Must be highly organized, detail oriented and possess strong analytical skills
