Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED; formal education in a related field
  • Willingness to look at new or innovative ways to improve methods and processes
  • Strong problem solving skills with a detail-oriented, quality-focused mindset
  • Self-starter who proactively takes action to achieve objectives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with clear and effective cross-department collaboration
  • Strong team player with a commitment to company values, quality standards, and safe work practices
  • Strong computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)
  • Ability to learn and apply key elements of production/manufacturing processes, systems, and tools
  • Ability to work and stay focused under pressure and time constraints
  • Ability to multitask with a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and accountability
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively while demonstrating ownership and follow through on commitments

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Experience is beneficial in any of the following:
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Production/Manufacturing Experience
  • Project Management or Account Coordination Experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned customer accounts, including Taylor Companies and external wholesale accounts
  • Coordinate and communicate multiple complex elements of account programs to meet customer requirements and expectations
  • Serve as a backup to peers by supporting their accounts as needed
  • Ensure customer requests and expectations are met by answering questions regarding program plans, stock, orders, pricing, and inquiries - primarily via email
  • Process customer purchase orders accurately and on time by tracking orders through departments and systems
  • Demonstrate product knowledge by clearly explaining features and benefits
  • Provide continuous updates on procedures and guidelines in the area
  • Anticipate customer needs and issues, proactively communicating program requirements, production timelines, shipping details, payment, and pricing information
  • Resolve service issues politely, efficiently, and professionally
  • Partner with departments (including sales) to support customer needs and requests, such as establishing critical dates, quotes, production timelines, inventory levels, and shipping options
