About The Position

Responsibilities of the Customer Account Manager include implementing and enforcing sales order (SO), purchase order and contract management standards and operating controls, monitoring day to day SO, contract activities, and implementing new concepts and techniques in compliance with customer needs and business unit objectives. Significant customer and operations interface for execution of repair contracts and overall repair business. What You Will Do Administer customer request for quotes, purchase orders/repair orders, for both contractual or price listed items. Respond to requests for quotes Perform contract review of all purchase orders: Repair, Certification, Terms and conditions, pricing, Quality Clauses Warranty Adjudication SAP order entry: Coordinate proper SAP set-ups for customers: Sold-to/Bill-to/Ship-to/Freight Forwarders/Contact Partners, Pricing, Route and carrier info, Material cross references. And Address customer requests internally Respond to Order status Archiving customer PO and contract file Coordinate with ITC for import/export of repairs Ability to determine legitimacy of customer claims Support customer reporting requirements per contract (i.e, OTIF/OTD metrics, etc.) Management of customer contract performance and achievement of the operating plan relating to daily shipments and Account Receivables. Establishing and maintaining appropriate purchase order and contract management standards, controls and reporting methods. Maintaining Customer Satisfaction and providing value to the business. Demonstrated expertise in Customer Relationship Management Provide assertive contract management for customers and programs. Minimize assumption of business and contract risk; communicate risk issues to appropriate management levels and develop contingency plans as necessary. Identify and support Customer Support Administrators with delivery and quality issues within the organization and at the customer. Support resolution of conflicts and assure compliance with contract requirements. Assure compliance with all UTC and Government applicable procedures, regulations and legal requirements including FAR/DFARS and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Perform functions in Microsoft Office Suite Series. Other Duties as requested internally and by external customers. Comfortable with desk-style work, as majority of the duties in this role will be done at a computer.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
