About The Position

As a Customer Account Manager , you will establish a consultative partnership with assigned customers to ensure high levels of retention and expand our suite of products and services; and provide sales support to both metro and core sales team. You will act as the primary point of contact for high-profile accounts, managing everything from billing questions and troubleshooting to contract renewals and sales proposals, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

  • AAS degree in sales, business or related; or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customer account management, sales, or related preferably in the telecommunication sector
  • Experience acting as primary contact with high profile customers ensuring an excellent customer experience
  • Experience with developing and executing a customer retention and expansion plan, including contract negotiation
  • Demonstrated understanding of excellent customer care concepts
  • General understanding or working knowledge with CRM software
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Ability to work with multiple details to create custom solutions for customers
  • Intermediate computer skills with Word, Excel, email
  • A valid driver's license and clear driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, business or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of telecommunications experience
  • Specific understanding of the telecommunications/broadband industry
