About The Position

This role contributes to Starbucks’ success by delivering a high level of account based and specialized functional support for the Custom Order Solutions team, providing white glove account and order management for customers. The position supports end to end logistics execution and proactive issue resolution, driving customer satisfaction and supply chain compliance through effective order management, clear and timely communication, and cross functional collaboration with partners in planning, distribution, channels, manufacturing, and coffeehouse development. The role models and acts in accordance with Starbucks’ guiding principles.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Operations
  • Customer service or related experience, ideally in a CPG company
  • Industry expertise within CPG and/or Foodservice and/or License Stores
  • Ability to understand how different business functions (e.g., finance, operations, HR, product) work together and apply that knowledge to drive progress on projects involving multiple teams
  • Microsoft Office (Excel & Outlook)
  • General understanding of supply chain operations and familiarity with core Customer Service policies and processes.
  • High organization skills and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work and make decisions independently in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve problems
  • Excellent communication / interpersonal skills (verbal and written)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily logistics operations including order management, shipment tracking, documentation accuracy, and issue resolution to ensure timely, compliant, and accurate delivery throughout the order to cash lifecycle.
  • Execute daily order management activities with a high degree of accuracy by monitoring queries, validating order details, and taking corrective action as needed to prevent service issues.
  • Partner proactively with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify, analyze, and resolve service disruptions, developing creative and cost effective solutions that protect customer satisfaction, strengthen relationships, and reduce deductions.
  • Analyze recurring supply chain issues, identify root causes, and recommend process improvements that enhance service reliability and efficiency; maintain accurate reporting and performance metrics to support compliance, continuous improvement initiatives, and supply chain excellence.

  • If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.
  • For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
