Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities. Your responsibilities include communicating with on-site teams, managing incident reports, and helping to deter security-related incidents through prompt response and clear communication. Requirements

Must possess one or more of the following:
Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch
Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
And all of the following:
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor and manage incoming calls, alarms, and communications for the utilities location, dispatching appropriate personnel as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site teams and emergency responders.
Maintain detailed logs and reports of all communications, incidents, and dispatch activities.
Operate communication equipment and security-related technology to support operations at the utilities location.
Assist in monitoring security-related systems such as CCTV and access control to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders to relay information and instructions as required.
