You will be responsible for collaborating with both US and international staff, along with CEA CAPA’s institutional partners, to implement programs aligned with the sending institution’s goals and our best practices. The Custom Program Manager plays a critical role in our team by serving our partners and providing responsive and creative solutions. You will leverage your strong project management background and willingness to learn and work with a dynamic team while interacting with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Manage a portfolio of 35+ custom programs per year.
  • Coordinate pre-departure program preparations between the sending U.S. institutional partner and CEA CAPA onsite staff.
  • In collaboration with the onsite global team, ensure all contracted program inclusions are booked in line with the pre-established program budgets.
  • Provide guidance and support to the assigned Partner Student Advisor working to enroll and advise and retain students attending custom programs.
  • Support onsite staff in the planning and execution of custom programs within a set budget and in accordance with the executed program agreements.
  • Work in partnership with the Institutional Relations, marketing and Student Advising team to monitor partnering institutions enrollment numbers and provide feedback on where additional recruitment support and campus visits may be useful to reach and exceed targeted enrollment numbers per term.
  • Build and maintain university specific online application portals.
  • Advise CEA CAPA institutional partners on any visa requirements and the visa application process.
  • Advise CEA CAPA institutional partners on internship related eligibility requirements, questions, concerns if applicable.
  • Manage relationships and communication with the study abroad administrators at partnering colleges and universities on topics including overseas crises, and student issues that arise while a student is on a CEA CAPA Custom Program.

  • Experience with budgeting, prioritizing tasks, and executing contracts within given deadlines.

  • Experience studying, living, and/or working in a multicultural environment or context.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.
  • Experience negotiating contracts and budgets with internal and external parties.
