Custom Processing Supervisor
About The Position
Custom Processing Supervisor Mission To ensure the timely, accurate, and high-quality completion of all custom and seasonal processing order through hands-on leadership and efficient team coordination. Requirements
- Must have a complete understanding of Microsoft word, excel, and Gmail
- Several years of successful meat fabrication, meat merchandising
- Possess a thorough overall knowledge of all value added products, i.e., quality and ingredients
- Basic knowledge of technologically based equipment
- Ability to understand and use all needed machinery
- Must be able to lift and carry 75 pounds
- Must be able to endure temperatures of below 32 degrees and above 90 degrees for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, squat, reach overheard and side-to-side for an extended period of time
- As dictated by business and need, must be able to work extended hours and varying work schedule

Responsibilities
- Works with the custom processing room to ensure orders are completed in a timely manner
- Manages up to 20 employees with wild game processing (seasonal increase from September to March)
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customer concerns and questions in a professional manner.
- Must communicate to individuals inside and out of Prasek's in a professional manner
- Must be able to handle inventory counts and maintain reports monthly.
- Must be a critical thinker who can act in any situation and assist any team player with any task within the custom processing room
- Must be able to work hands on within the room for any new products or samples requested by management and complete these tasks within a timely manner
- Must be able to work individually as well as with a team on numerous tasks
- Understand or willing to learn USDA Labeling Requirements
