About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Custom Order Engineer Trainer. This position will be ONSITE Monday -Friday 8:00am-5:00pm at our Arden NC Eaton facility.
The LVA COE Trainer will provide introductory level training for incoming Customer Order Engineers (COEs) for the Low Voltage Assemblies product line with both local and off-site Eaton engineers while utilitizing both internal and external systems, drawings and specifications. This person will be responsible for delivering and facilitating approved safety,engineering and systems curriculum using adult learning delivery methods and classroom visual/audio equipment while effectively managing class time and instructional material.

In this role:
This position will have an emphasis on training, developing and mentoring new engineers. The COE Trainer will be responsible for delivering instructor-led training to entry level engineers in an onsite and virtual classroom format. The trainer will utilize Eaton systems such as Bid Manager, Design Automation, AS400, Enovia and Plant Order Manager along with external systems such as AutoCAD to facilitate training experiences and to ensure classes are engaging and interactive. The COE trainer will work with corss-functional teams to establish criteria to evaluate a learner's performance and proactively identify and report out on additional training needs. The successful candidate will also provide subject matter expertise to develop training programs inlcuding manuals, videos and demonstations. The trainer will be responsible for assessing skills and knowledge of students thru both interaciton and evaluations/examinations. The COE trainer will work closely with management and team members to communicate any necessary improvements or resources needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or technical related field from an accredited institution.
• 1 year experience working with LVA Customer Order/Product Engineering
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Arden, NC (Asheville) will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software.

Nice To Haves

• 2 year’s experience working with Low Voltage Assemblies and/or power distribution systems.
• Previous experience in training and leading others
