Hours 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Mon-Fri) On Site Compensation At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position in the United States is $40,590 - $50,740. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria. Join Our Team as a Custom Engineer Support Specialist! The Custom Engineering Support Specialist will be performing administrative tasks to support the design and quality assurance efforts of the Custom Engineering team.

Requirements

  • Experience in the use of 3DX software.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, communicate effectively, and work within a team environment.
  • Computer skills with emphasis in Excel, Access & Oracle
  • Experience working in a professional office environment, preferably in an engineering and technical design related field.

Nice To Haves

  • One year experience in the use of SolidEdge and MicroStation CAD software preferred.
  • One year experience in the use of Oracle Applications.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with product specialists, designers, engineers, and leadership to ensure timely progression of order workflows for new customer orders.
  • Using 3DX software; create new items, new or revised Bills of Material (BOMs), and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
  • Manage design documentation records including filing and processing of new orders and change orders.
  • Conduct internal QA audits and review BOMs, ECOs, and Production Support Requests for completeness, clarity, and accuracy.
  • Provide recommendations on areas for improvement and work with leadership to implement problem resolution and process improvements.
  • Assist in creation, distribution, and management of quality assurance related metrics and visual controls.
  • Assist in creation and management of standardized work, design guidelines, procedural instructions, and other quality assurance related documentation.
