As a Cabinet Designer you will be responsible for : Support Tharp’s Design + Sales team as they interface directly with trade professionals, their clients and residential homeowners to design and quote Cabinet projects. Customer facing and non-customer facing roles available. Cabinet Vision and company training is typically 3-12 months. Support the design team by designing custom cabinetry projects as needed. Designing cabinetry for all rooms of the home using Cabinet Vision software. Learn the ins and outs of Tharp and the cabinetry business by assisting customers at the front desk and on the phones. Have knowledge of building codes, appliances and mechanical systems. Cabinet designers write specifications and draw plans that are easily interpreted by plumbers, electricians, and installers. Field measure modifications. Assisting the sales teams by gaining knowledge of our Cabinet products. Concept and Final design and drawing development. Price Estimate development. File creation and management as it pertains to job creation. After training, help train new designers. Be actively involved in Tharp’s continuous improvement by helping with process changes and marketing initiatives. Assist and coordinate all Service and Warranty requirements through appropriate internal resources (CSR). Other duties may be assigned by the COO or Director of Sales.
