About The Position

The Custodian is responsible for keeping the interior of facility clean and in orderly condition. What your day will look like: Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor Dusts furniture and equipment Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork Washes windows, door panels, and sills Empties wastebaskets Transports trash and waste to disposal area Replenishes bathroom supplies Sets up tables and chairs in auditorium or hall

Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years old
  • Good work record
  • Good attendance
  • Dependable with a good attitude
  • Good safety record
  • The ability to receive and follow instructions
  • The ability to work well and get along with other employees and/or customers
  • In the event of drivers, to have a good MVR
  • Must be able to pass the Company physical
  • Must have a neat appearance
  • Must be flexible as to work schedule
  • Must be able to perform some yard work/landscaping activities
  • Must be able to use/control all equipment in the department

Nice To Haves

  • Janitorial experience preferred
