Friends' Central School Overview Friends' Central School is an independent, coeducational Quaker day school founded in 1845 and serving approximately 819 students in Nursery through grade 12. Located in the Philadelphia suburbs, the School has two campuses. Friends' Central Summer Programs: Trailblazer Camp - Custodian Trailblazer Camp (ages 7-12) located on the City Avenue Campus in Wynnewood Pa is seeking a custodian. The camp runs from June 22, 2026 - August 7, 2026 (seven weeks - closed July 3rd for Independence Day). Hours for the position are 8:00am - 3:30pm. Essential Job Functions Trailblazer camp is seeking to hire a custodian who will report to the Trailblazer Camp Director. Essential job functions include (but are not limited to) the following: Drive golf cart when needed to pick up and deliver supplies across campus including but not limited to: Water containers and ice Equipment for all activities Return the golf cart to the storage location and charge the battery every day. Setting up and taking down game/activity equipment. Ensure grounds and buildings are clean and orderly. Pick up paper and other debris from grounds and buildings with particular attention to ensuring the lunch/break areas and assembly/event areas are free of trash after use. Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting floors and surfaces; cleaning windows, mirrors, and other surfaces. Disinfecting restroom facilities, high-touch areas, and other surfaces. Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by tidying furniture and dusting surfaces. Report any major damage, safety, sanitary, or fire hazards to the appropriate department. Assure security of buildings and grounds during assigned times as guided by the Director of Security and the Camp Director. Perform other duties as assigned.
