The Custodian Technician plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment across office buildings, plant facilities, and mobile equipment at SSR Mining’s Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mine. This position is responsible for performing a wide range of custodial and sanitation duties to support daily operations and ensure compliance with site safety and environmental standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and contributes to a team-oriented environment while supporting SSR Mining’s core values of Safety First, Always; Better Together; and Be Excellent.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Ability to follow safety procedures and site protocols

Nice To Haves

Previous custodial, janitorial, or industrial cleaning experience preferred
Experience using cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, buffers, and power cleaning tools

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of office spaces, restrooms, breakrooms, and plant facilities
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors, carpets, and surfaces
Empty trash receptacles and replenish supplies such as soap, paper products, and cleaning materials
Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch areas
Spot clean walls, glass, and other surfaces as needed
Complete supply requests and maintain inventory of cleaning materials
Clean and sanitize mobile equipment cab interiors (steering wheels, controls, handles, etc.)
Vacuum floor mats and upholstery
Clean cab windows, mirrors, and interior surfaces for visibility and safety
Steam clean and shampoo upholstery as needed
Follow all site safety procedures, including Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) requirements
Maintain a strong focus on safe and environmentally responsible work practices
Work collaboratively with maintenance, operations, and other departments
Follow direction and complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision
